Everyone knows that the public transport isn’t the best in the world, but Thai government is doing a lot to drastically change this. As a result they accomplished already a new bus route and they have some great projects in the pipeline.

Public transport in Phuket

The Bangkok metropolitan railway just did a second market survey for a tram. The Phuket tram will go from the airport to Phuket town, which will help a lot in travelling time. Everyone that arrives Phuket by plane, should now take a taxi or shuttle bus, but with a tram they have an extra choice. Later on this tram will even reach Chalong. With a tram and smart bus, Phuket takes huge steps to an improved Public transport system.

In 2024 this project should be finished and it will help a lot of people reaching their property in Phuket.
